Gabriella Pescucci, Carlo Poggioli and Alessandro Lai are the talents of Italian and international cinema who are mentors to selected costume designers. These three masters, the ultimate expression of the great Italian tradition of costume, are joined by industry professionals and Tuscan artisan companies that make Italian creativity famous throughout the world.
Digital Manufactures Cinema Prato is the Tuscan hub for innovation in the audiovisual supply chain. 400 square metres of tailoring, storage, pressing, study and over 540 square metres of space equipped for projections, make-up and hair, set-ups.
Prato, the historic Italian textile district, is already known by many film and international productions that buy fabrics here. 20 minutes from Florence and with a beautiful historic centre, it is the perfect city for costume designers who wish to participate in this intensive experience.

The Fabric Of Dreams is an educational and design master aimed at costume designers with previous experience in the sector. 500 hours of study with visits to museums, tailors, and companies. A unique possibility of learning and production at the highest level.
Three months contact with the greatest Italian talents of international Costume Design.
It is a practical master. 70% practical, 20% theory and 10% visits to places. The selected costume designers will have the opportunity to work closely with the three masters, Gabriella Pescucci, Carlo Poggioli and Alessandro Lai, who will conduct the workshop alternately. Expert teaching staff turn theory into practice. A series of visits to museums, companies, and tailors typical of the Tuscan manufacturing tradition completes the master.
The lessons expand the theoretical background on topics such as History of Costume, History of Textiles, Costume and Fashion in Cinema, Jewellery and Accessories. The master focuses on Historic Cutting, Tailoring, Hand Drawing, Digital Design, Department Organisation, and helps improve the practical skills of costume designers. Finally, visits to places of cultural excellence in the area and the Tuscan textile production system expand the emotional experience. Mind, hands and eyes.
The costume designers create a series of costumes inspired by Cosimo I and Eleonora di Toledo destined to become an exhibition module in a travelling exhibition to the greatest places of culture throughout Europe and the world.
